I've wanted to do it for years and years and yesterday finally I just said fuck it. I hate Facebook. I hate almost all of these Silicon Valley fucks. I hate what they've done to the internet and by extension the world. I hate what they've enabled. I hate what they've done to culture. I hate their instinct to enshittify and their sneering contempt for users. I can't wait until we have them up against a wall. And while I know that me leaving the fuckass platform that kickstarted the dumb ages doesn't really mean anything, nuking it confirms if only to me that I see my future as infinitely more important than my past. And that ain't hay.
